Bryant 373LAV Horizontal Gas Furnace will not light
    Hello All,

My Bryant gas furnace will not light. It will go through the motions like it wants to run but it never lights, nor does the fan run on the auto setting; only on the manual setting.

It is also on some sort of time delay; if the thermostat is set higher than room temp. the furnace will begin to run like it normally would but the burner never lights. It seems to make a few attempts to light during this period -I hear electrical clicking- but it is unsuccessful and then shuts itself off. Afterwards, it is inactive for about an hour.

There is also an led sequence which appears to be 1 short lighting with a short pause and then 4 more short lightings.

Does this sound like the igniter is done for? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    TJ

I would start with the igniter, they are prone to fail.
