Need more info - were you given an appearance ticket? Were you fingerprinted? Were you (simply) told to stay out of Target forever?

And what is the charge?

Nobody can tell you what the Judge will decide but probably you will get a fine and warning not to shoplift again with a first time offense and that dollar amount.

If this is your first offense and you have a clean record, you will probably be allowed to do community service and have your record expunged after completion.

Have your parents gotten you an attorney?
