With whom do I report immigration fraud?
I am the concerned sister of a very naiive and gullible guy. He met a woman from Brazil who has both Brazilian and French citizenship. She married a French citizen just to get her citizenship. Now she wants to do the same her to become a citizen of the US. She has already offered him 5 thousand dollars to marry her, and said if he wouldn't do it, she would offer it to his friend. In the meantime, she is telling him she loves him, etc... she's a scam artist who is much smarter than him and is totally trying to get into this country by way of fraud. Who do I report her to? Thanks! Sisterofdummy

She'll happily keep offering the $5,000 to someone who will take her up on this and find out that it doesn't work like that over here to become an automatic citizen. Just try and keep your dumbbell brother away from her until she can snare some other idiot. In the meantime, if you have all the information about her such as real name, etc. employer name and address, her address, contact the ICE people and they'll take it from there for you. They'll help her out in short order.

Contact: I.C.E. (Immigration & Customs Enforcement) Tip Line: (866) 347-2423

You can provide information anonymously, but (better yet) give your information and agree to share any documentation or proof you have to see some action taken.

I wonder if calling the fraud line (866) 347-2423 will take care the report. There are tooooooo many reports; just wonder they will take care of every report 'seriously'. I wonder a report in writing is better although ICE said don't do that. Write them to PO box 648005 Lee's Summit, MO 64064 include name and birthdate and alien number, and case numbers and evidence of the fraud. And indicate who you are.

Actually no, I would not send it to the MO address, that is merely a records department, I do not believe it is the enforcement agency.

Depending on where you live, you can contact the district office
    ICE Office of Intelligence Contacts

But on the toll free number if you are willing to give direct info, who you are, who is doing what, and where they are, if they view it as serious enough they will investigate
