I am 20year old not sexually active female who hasn't had a period since August of 2007. Ive been to the doctor had a ultra sound and was told I was not pregnant and everything was normal. Doctor told me it was probably just caused by stress. Its January and for two days striaght I have had a brown discharge. And idont know what this is? Can you help? I don't have the funds to return to my doctor at this time and would like to know any information you can provide to me thanks a bunch!! :confused:

Sounds like your period is gearing up to start. Brown discharge is quite normal before periods.

I used to have that problem too, my periods were always very irregular. I had all the tests done, and everything seemed fine-hormone levels, ultrasound etc. In the end I just ended up starting the pill. Brown discharge between 2 periods was also pretty normal for me. If you still don't have it after 6 months, I think you should return to your doctor, he might give you some pills so you can have one( I got those twice).
