My father passed this life on Jan 2, I was with him at his passing. He went down hill quickly since Thanksgiving. At that time he could still walk across the floor, but Christmas he was confined to his bed. His passing was peaceful in his sleep. He will truly be missed.

May god be with your father in heaven. My great grandma passed a couple of years.I know how some of this feels.the things I see on this sight sometimes makes me cry.

I am sure he is missed but Im happy for him that he is in a better place and doesn't have to face the suffering of this world any longer.

While I do not know what it is like to lose a parent, I don't think it can be a good feeling.

My prayers are with you and your family. He will always be in your thoughts.
It is a blessing that he went peacefully in his sleep. My father and mother passed the same way.
