Firing sequence is out of wack
Yesterday I wrote:
My Bryant Furnace works OK, except that it doesn't seem to be firing up in the proper sequence. Pilot light should ignite and then a short time later burners should ignite and blower should start. As unit is now, blower starts same time as pilot light goes on and then after a few seconds the burners turn on. I had a furnace tech out and he suggested I change the ignitor box, which I did. Didn't fix problem! Tech says he doesn't have any idea what is causing problem, but thanks for the $85.00 anyway.
Any ideas?
Stupid me, I didn't supply my model number or such. Furnace is
Bryant 394GAD DAy and Night, about sixteen years old. Appears to only have one wire going to ignitor. It's cold here in MIchigan today and furnace is running nicely. It's just that I know that sequence thing is wrong and I want to get back on course.
