My period keeps going on, even after I discharge
I'm 13 years old and I started getting my period at the age of 12. My period started again about 3-5 weeks ago and its still going. I discharged a few days ago but my period keeps going on. I'm really worried and I don't know when my period is going to stop! This means I can't go to the beach and the pool with my friends (what a great summer holiday this is) NOT! [oh and please don't tell me to see a doctor because they're too expensive for my mum] help!

I'm afraid your mother may not have any choice but for you to see a doctor if this condition goes on much longer. It does not sound normal and needs to be treated.

Periods lasting this long can lead to a condition called anemia. It is important that your mother take you to a doctor or a local health department to find out why it is lasting this long.

I know you don't want to hear that, but it is imperative that you seek medical attention at once.
