    Water in Electrical Outlet!
What do I do if I got some water on or in an electrical outlet? I already turned off the circuit break that controls it, is that all I can do and wait for it to dry?

How did the water get in there? How much water are we talking about?

You can pull the cover and dry it out. A vacuum will help if nothing else. But I would put a fan in front of it for a bit.

Saw this same thing before. Water leaking out of a wall receptacle. I found where the roof was leaking and water running down the cable from the attic to the receptacle.
