Hi all, so every time I have a bowel movement I bleed.. in the mornings when I just urinate I bleed (from my butt) I'm freakin out! When I poo it hurts really bad... any more questions ask... I need answers

You need to see your doc, it could be piles. Have you had anal sex recently? Its prob just a tear of the anal tissue, but go to the doctors

Is the bleeding bright red or dark?

Its normally bright red but one morning I woke up and was urinating and dark blood just was flowing... I past out later that day and had a nose bleed to... does that have anything to do with it

It's doubtful the two are connected. Usually bright red bleeding means that it is coming from a source close to the anal opening, such as the case in hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids can be internal or external, with little to severe itching and/or pain.

However, as mentioned above, it is best to have this properly diagnosed by a doctor.

What about when it poured out (thats what it felt like) that's when it was darker which was yesterday just to add

Sorry Girly, I have been in school and my time this semester is VERY limited, it may take me a week to respond at times.

You need to get to the hospital. If it was "pouring out" as you said, you can have a bleeding ulcer, which can be very dangerous, and possibly for some, life threatening.

This must be diagnosed by a doctor ASAP. You won't be able to stop it or treat it until you go... so if you can't make time, prepare to deal with this bleeding for a long while. As J said, this could be a serious problem. I think its worth the time to find out.

Do you have time to be dead?

Not to scare you, but it does happen. People can and do die from bleeding ulcers, and it is possible this is what you are suffering from.

Also, bleeding like this can cause anemia, which can be serious in and of itself.

So, either see a doctor to get this properly diagnosed, or think about the alternative.

I had something like that and it was a "fisure" BUT it won't heal without the proper medication and you can keep bleeding. You can get an infection in your anus that can spread and become sepsis, which is deadly. You need to get this looked after. You have spent time on here looking for answers which could have been better spent in a hospital or at the doctors. Get yourself to a doctor.

And I won't get my insurance until march but I guess I can just got to the ER

I think if you would have the time to post stuff on this website, that you would have the time to go to the doctor especially if it is something like this.

Yes, go to the ER. If you don't have insurance, there may be financial aid available. If nothing else, they will let you make payments. This could be very serious, so please go. There is always a financial aid counselor at the hospital that can get help for you as far as bills. The most important thing right now is to make sure you are OK.

If you are experiencing anything like this - PLEASE see a doctor ASAP. My husband just passed away from similar.
Losing a lot of blood, especially if one looses it quickly - can cause kidney, then liver, then other organs to fail.

Even if you only see a 'bit' of blood in urine or bowel - GET IT CHECKED OUT!

I realize your loss is very fresh (this AM) and you are attempting to help other people but this post is from 2008. No one will read this except people who responded in 2008.
