The United States is said to be following a policy of isolation when it joins a world organization such as the United Nations. Is this question true or false?
OK, first what is isolation ?
Do you get isolated when you join in other groups ?
On the surface this statement seems to be an oxymoron. Joining is not isolation.
The question, as stated, is false. Now if you asked if the United States was following a policy of isolation by refusing to join the United Nations - could be true. But there are more than one reason to not want to join the UN.
Not necessarily, Stringer - I only gave a part of what I perceived was based on an incorrect question. Who knows? Maybe her teacher worded the question this exact way? I have not a clue.
If I were a nation, I would not join the UN - purely on philosophical differences.
Could be, my radar went up my friend... you are probably correct in your assumption.
And I could be wrong too, Stringer.
