    Hairy & Spotty Legs.
I really hate it when i shave my legs and the next day the hairs are already growing back, so if i want smooth legs i have to shave every day. Is there anything i can do to stop re-growth so fast. And also i exfoliate and cream by legs and they get spotty sometimes and itch, where am i going wrong?

I used get that too with shaving. I would like to wax but it's too time consuming. So I now use hair minimising lotions (I use king of shaves). I apply it every day and now I shave every 2-3 days now.

Shaving is fast and temporary. The results will last from 1-3 days no matter what you use to shave your skin. If you want the results to last longer, you might want to try waxing. Waxing will keep your legs hair-free for 2-6 weeks.

For a smooth shave, use warm water to soften the skin and hair before shaving. Then apply a shaving cream, gel or hair conditioner on your legs, and shave in the direction of the hair growth (downward). Then apply a lotion after shaving to soothe your skin.

An alternative and cheaper way than waxing (and will save time having to drag yourself to a salon to get this done if you're not brave enough to pull the strips off yoursel) is to buy an eplilator. Maybe check them out on eBay (BRAND NEW ONLY) as this will get to the "root" of the problem too!

Ow! No! Epilators? Rather be beaten with a stick for an hour! Waxing is the way to go.

It's kind of a "pleasure/pain scenario" to say the least!! I have to hold my hands up here and say I have never tried them, but when I worked in beauty many moons ago, people used to swear by them (or was that swear at them?? )

This comment made me laugh. I actually tried an epilator device a few years ago, and it was quite painful.

So we're all in agreement now then to say no to the epliators?? Pass me the wax strips then... actually, think I'll stick to my daily shave... I am a whimp!

Careful with that stuff, Sunday morning showers can be dangerous. My girlfriends little sister put that stuff on her head because she mistook it for shampoo... long story short, no more hair! her baby sisters beautiful golden locks came out

If you have a form of eczema or psoriasis this can also make the irritation of re -growth worse. Have you tried waxing?

No i've never tried waxing, the hairs never get long enough to wax them. do you think i should grow them then try waxing?

I would - for best reults, leave them to grow for around six weeks which will ensure more are waxed off leaving nice n silky smooth pins!! (prob best to do it now before the summer creeps in and those skirts come out! )

It's the old pleasure pain scenario... a little bit of pleasure for a lot of pain (or is that the other way around?? ) You gurarnteed to get more of the little blighters the longer they are, plus don't forget they will be all at different lengths

CC85uk, if you're considering waxing, skip shaving for 2-3 weeks to ensure that your hair is long enough to wax.
