Fax machine is HP Office Jet K60, up until now working great for an older machine. The black ink cartridge ran out, replaced it with Black 45, as always. Message says, "Press Enter to Align Cartridges", as usual, but the process always fails and the faxes are very, very poorly printed. I tried a second cartridge. Rollers seem to be very clean, cartridge is making good contact and is snapped in properly.

How do I get good faxes? We are a small business and this is extremely important!

I thought I answered this already. Printhead alignment is critical on this type of printer.

Not knowing the test being presented to you, because I do not have that printer it is tough to know what is going on. Is there any way you can scan a sample of the failures and attach it to the posting?
