What is Shiseido pure white?

It is a skin whitening supplement.

Pure white is an oral supplement made by Shiseido only for the Japanese market. It does not contain glutathione. Most of the posts I have seen on the internet says it does. Its contents are the following:Astaxanthin, alpha lipoic acid, hesperidin, licorice extract, yeast essence, adley extract, vitamin E, vit C, vit B2, Vit B6.
It is indicated for clearing blemishes and the suggested dose is to take 3tablets 3x a day.
This information came from the Shiseido Consumer Center in Tokyo.

What do you mean by "only for the Japanese market"? If it doesn't contain glutathione, what ingredient does it contain then that makes the skin lighter?

Obviously he means it's a Japanese product made for Japanese people. :)
