    Pilot will not stay lit
My mother has an old floor heater that is about 45 to 50 years old and needs a key to turn the heat up and down, also to turn on the gas for the pilot light or off in the summer. When I try to light the pilot it will flicker but not stay lit. I have tried to clean the pilot tube with no such luck. This Dinosaur of a heater needs to be replaced but I need to make sure my mother stays warm until that time. Does anyone have any Ideas, also I have checked other sites and they talked about the electric coupling. Looking this thing over the other day I find that it does not have any type of electrical device unless I'm looking at it wrong.
Lastly While looking it over being the dinosaur that it is I have no idea the make or model.
    Please Help:confused:

You need to clean the pilot orifice. It has a very small hole in it that can get plugged up over time.
