I'm not pregnant, but I seen a quote that said they were bleeding in the beging when they found outv they were pregnant.
I didn't know you could bleed while you were pregnant.
So you could be pregnant and bleed and think its you period?
Just wondering.

I was pregnant, then had my period, then no more bleeding.

I also started what I thought was my period one time and bled profusely and was having a miscarriage.

Any questions concerning bleeding, I would strongly urge you to ask your gynecologist. Everyone has different experiences. I would just ask for clarification on that subject from your doctor. There are just too many variables.

Bleeding isn't a sign of pregnancy. However, it is possible to have some bleeding while pregnant, without it leading to miscarriage. However, any and all bleeding should always be taken very seriously, and immediately reported to your doctor. As far as the bleeding while pregnant, some women have early pregnancy bleeding, sometimes small amounts of bleeding is caused by having intercourse(as the vagina swells with the extra blood flow, and becomes more sensitive) and some women swear to have period like bleeding through out their pregnancies.Typically its not a true period, just some pregnancy bleeding. However, in the case of my aunt, she was born with two uterus's so she did have periods while pregnant. It's a pretty rare thing really. As I said bleeding during pregnancy shouldn't be seen as being a normal thing, and should always be reported to a doctor.

If you are ever trying to conceive you should still test if you have some bleeding but the odds are much lower that you will be pregnant. If you are not trying to conceive I would not bother testing until you are late or have another sure sign (like you feel the baby move or get very sick).
