Hi there.

I was just wondering if anyone could point me to some specific books that might help me in getting a better understanding of why some jews felt the coming of Hitler as being far worse than it was in the beginning. Were there signs, both politically and socially that were signs of what was to come?

I'm wondering somehow if I can't draw up a criteria list to identify when government goes out of control.

There were signs. There were speeches blaming the Jews for everything. They made them wear stars on their clothes. They forced them out of their jobs and homes. They made them move into ghettos.

THEN they started killing them.

Some of those things were signs that the government was out of control.
