Hello,

I understand electricity quite well, but I have never seen this before. I am replacing a GFCI circuit breaker (15A), with a non GFCI breaker (15A), and am confused because there are 2 white wires (and the black), coming out of the bottom of this breaker. I know the newer breakers have a single GFCI, but why is there 2 wires?

Should I just put these wires back onto the neutral bus bar?

One wire should be permenently attached to the breaker. There should be a silver Neutral lug near that wire for the load neutral from the circuit being protected. Is this second wire just cutoff? Can you find this screw terminal lug?

Thanks for the reply. The box is pretty crowded. I haven't cut the power yet and delved into the wires too deeply to see where they are both going just yet. I wanted to have an idea of the plan before I went in.
