Question about eye color in babies
my question is about my babies eye color. she is 7 months old, and still has grey eyes with brown lines around her pupil, sometimes they look hazel, and sometimes they are grey. dh has brown eyes, and i have green. his parents are brown and mine are blue, i was just wondering since they had brown around the pupil would they be brown, or stay grey, or could they turn blue?i dont really care what color they are, it is just that i never seen anyone with grey eyes before, so i was asking. thanks

There's really no telling what they will do. If her eyes are still the same after 7 months they will most likely stay the way they are. Some people have eyes like that. Mine have like a darker brownish ring and inside that I have a light greenish brownish color. You should see them when I get made up. They are awesome! My step mom has grey eyes and they are amazing. ONe of you got a gene for grey eyes some where Is all I can guess. With the eye changing colors that is normal for people with hazel eyes. Our eyes will change colors according to mood or health condition. Some will get lighter when they are crying or sick or angry.

    Eye color!
I always figuered by reading your post that you are a beautiful lady so my question is ;Is this your picture or not?Back to the subject-In an age where you can get any kind of child you want (so they say) does it make a difference what your babies eye color is since it wasn't his/her choice anyway?

Honey, please! Im much hotter than the woman in that picture. Now listen at me. I sound like a snob. She do got that crankie seduction thing going though. That is the lead singer of Evanesence. Momma don't worry about your baby she'll be just fine. Grey eyes are cool. Dang now that I look at it she do look a little like me but not by much. Ha ha.

Not worried about her eye color, just never seen grey eyes before, so I didn't know if that was her color, or if they were in the middle of changing or something. Thanks on the info.. my mother says my great grandfather had grey eyes.. just told me that today.. lol.. I appreciate the quick response though.

    Eye's
Kids are always changing, my youngest son was born with like a light blue kind of eye colour but as he grew and started to get older his eyes turned to been hazel like myself and the rest of my kids. You may find they stay the colour they are but depends on age! You may find they change. You will find out what colour there going to stay once they hit around the 18mnths mark or just a little before.

    Hope that helps a little.

That is true, both my other girls have brown eyes like dh.. first one was born with brown eyes and they are almost black, second one was born with slate eyes, and turned hazel about 7 months and then chocolate brown by 9 months.. this one was born with grey eyes, and they have gotten some silver, and brown lines around the pupil, but still are grey at 7 months.. so we will see... I was just fasinated with the color, I didn't know someone could have grey eyes because I never seen them. Thanks

LoL yea there always changing! But it looks like she may keep hers grey if they have lasted this long... I don't think it's a comman colour but there are a few people with that colour... So if they stay grey she will be one lucky girl.:)

My dd has hazel eyes that are mostly grey w/ brown around the center. She's now eight so I assume they will stay that way. I think this combo is pretty unusual. My eyes are hazel (green/brown) my dh's are blue. Hers were a strange blue-grey-brown until she was a year old so your daughter's may continue to change for a little while.
