Why is my puppy 7 months old got high white cell counts? What is side effects?
My puppy who is 7 months old and she just got sick four days ago and we went to emergency Clinic for her and found out that she had a high white cells count so what it means? Now she don't eat at all or drink. She just sleep a lots and couldn't walk at all. Her legs is very weak so what is cause for that ? Her Vet said it is maybe from Valley Fever but she is on meds and it is Antibiodics that should be help her but it is not and worse this time. I NEEED SOMEONE HELP ME OK? Because I can't afford to take her to VET Again to pay more money. I need someone who have same experiences with their dogs. PLEASE EMAIL ME ASAP!

Fairizzy, unfortunately, we can't examine your dog online and the health problem she is experiencing might be any number of things. All we can do is guess and it won't get you any closer to the answer you need. You little girl urgently needs a vets attention. A follow up phone call on a health issue doesn't cost anything. If the medications she is currently on are not helping, you need to call the vet's emergency number and let them know what is occurring. You need to allow the treating vet to continue doing his job and to give you directions as to what to do. But, be prepared that he/she may request you bring your dog in again. If you aren't happy with this vet, find another one. But, the most important thing is, once you take on the responsibility of a dog, medical expenses are just part of the deal. Please do not delay getting your puppy the help she needs.

A high white blood cell count means that there is an infection somewhere in your pups body. I would call the vet and tell him that the pup is not doing any better... maybe he will try another antibiotic without you having to bring the dog in. Is she having vomiting and diarrhea?
