This is kind of hard to explain. My mother was illegally adopted in Long Beach, Ca 12/12/1942. According to a letter my mom's real mother's name was Luella Pratt. However Luella's mom was a nurse at the hospital my mom was born at, so they lied and said Luella's name was Carolanna Briley (which is my mom's adopted mothers name). Luella did not want to let any one know she had a baby, so according to my mothers birth certificate her adopted parents are her real parents. My adopted grandma acted like she really had my mom & never would talk about any part of it. Anybody in our family that might have known anything is passed away. So I want to know how to go about finding my mom's biological family if there's any out there. And no one knows any thing about the biological father.

I too was illegally adopted . Or shall I say not adopted at all when my birthmother had me she had my adopteive father sighn the birth certificate as if he was the father and is not then they took me as if I was living with my bio dad and that's not the case so legally it looked like my bio dad had me so I have no adoption records they were almost complete strangers I'm so confuse and I'm not sure what to make of it
