    Need goodman fault codes
Have an older goodman furnace. It goes all the way through start-up sequence (purge, igniter comes on, gas lights for a couple of seconds, then cuts off). It does this three times then shuts off. After this, the LED continuously blinks. I have no fault codes to troubleshoot the problem. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance, T.

When its trying to ignite, is there 24 volts going to the gas valve?, have you cleaned the flame senser, good with steal wool or fine sandpaper, is the filter good?, after killing all power ,for a few minutes and restarting, do you get a code (blinking light ) on start-up?

You say the main burner comes on for a couple of seconds and drops out? Clean the flame sensor (small rod sitting in flame on opposite side of igniter) with some clean steel wool, reinstall, and try it. This is most likely your problem based on your description.

And the codes should be on the door or on the control itself.

Goodman is crap. I spent 3000.00 and three months later I was fighting with the rinky dink guy I chose: Park and Sons (or Emergency Heating and Repair) in Omaha. Lowest bid for a reason. Why should I have to be cleaning a brand new furnace?
