    Electric Furnace troubleshooting
I have an electric furnace that continues to blow fuses. What can I do?

Since this is an electric furnace, I'll assume you have 208/230 volts here and if only 1 fuse is blowing, you still have a "hot" system. Shut off ALL breakers before working on it.

The unit has a dead short somewhere. Use an ohm meter and start looking for continuity from elements to ground.

Chances are, an element has burned out and is grounding against the cabinet.

Once you find the open element, it will need replacing.
