    Confused what should I do
    Yes I was in a car accident 8 months ago... I am now having and burning sensation in my left thigh hurts at times could this be caused by the accident 8 months ago.. I did go to a charoprator for my back... SHOULD I GO FOR A MRI another problem I have no heath insurance I AM CONFUSSED THE OTHER PERSONS INSURANCE SAID THEY WOULD PAY FOR THE AMBULANCE AND OTHER BILLS GOT DUE TO ACCIDENT BUT NOW THIS IS HAPPENING TO MY THIGH... I AM WONDERING IF I DUE GO TO A DOC AND HAVE HIM WRITE OUT TO HOSPITAIL WHERE I WAS TAKEN TO GIVE ME A MRI

    Go to your family physician and have him/her examine your thigh.

    Just curious as to why you have no health insurance at all...

    Yes, in today's society, we need health insurance.

    Is it a burning feel, or more like you feel if you hit your funny bone? Or more like it feels if your leg goes to sleep and then feels like it is walkingup but won't.

    I would think long and hard about an MRI
    1] they cost hundreds if not a thousand dollars
    2] it might not change the management of your problem
    3] if you do decide to pay out of pocket -- negotiate -- often hospitals will charge the full rate to the unisured while accepting 80% from insurance companies 60% from medicare 40 % from medicaid [ the % is made up ] - ask to pay the medicaid or lowest reimbursement rates possible.
