I am renting a house and it got served foreclosure papers what should I do?

You're going to have to leave when the foreclosure happens. Depending on your location, you'll probably have some time afterwards to vacate - or you might not.

I'd be ready to leave, but I'd stay long enough to find out if the new owner were interested in maintaining the house as a rental.

Or, maybe YOU can buy the house. I'd contact the bank and ask. While I was on the phone with them, I'd ask when they plan to auction it off.
