    Wanting to expand my sales agency
    Wanting to expand my sales agency but I do not know exactly how to go about it. Yes I can pick up other lines but how do I get other sales people interested in working for me on commission. I do have some idea but I am looking to someone who has done this before. Perhaps there is a model that I can follow. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks.:)

    Well, I haven't done what you are doing, but I have had experience in sales and I do know how to attract business via the Internet.

    What kind of sales agency is it that you have?

    Hey Thanks C. I started back in 93 by representing a firm on straight commossion which lead to registering a company then this lead to getting another product line and then this further lead to another line and then incorporation. Now the goal is to expand this comp to include employees selling for me. Does that help?
    Tks. Stl:)

    Good afternoon, I have been in sales for over 42 years and own a sales and service company. I would suggest several methods among many;

    Advertise, Trade Magazines, Recruit at Trade Shows, Word of Mouth, Ask help from present Workers, etc.

    I would also attend local groups such as Chamber of Commerce, Networking Groups, etc.

    Well I work part time for an insurance sells agency, and one of the thing on hiring commission sales is that only about one in ten is going to stay for long. It is just the nature, we find it the same way in most business.

    But the same way many of the health insurance companies do it, United America, Mega Life ( or UGA) American National, and doznes of others, they run adds almost every week in their local newspapers, in fact the one I work for make the person pay all of their own training expenese ( except for hotel) and then pay them back after they right a certain number of busniesss.

    It is a numbers game, of conitnuious hiring and training.

    If you want to share some of your attempts and issues, I am getting ready to take over as a sales manager for our local agency here in Atlanta
    And will be trying to hire a lot of sales force (all commission)
    So if you would like we can share our attempts and what happens.
