My name is Tina, I'm from Minnesota. I've been with my fiancee for 6 years and we have a 3 yr old daughter and a 5 month old son. While I was pregnant with our son he cheated on me with an older woman who became pregnant with his child. She does drugs and says she doesnt want the child and she says when its born shes giving it to her sister. She has 2 other children that she does not have custody of and they are with her family. Right now I'am the only one working and supporting our family. What are his chances of getting custody of this child and how should he go about doing it. Can her sister get custody of this child even though hes willing to care for it? The mother has been in and out of jail for drugs and other reasons unknown, she smokes marijuana and takes vicoden and was using crack. What should we do? Do we even have a chance?? any opinions are welcome! Thanks! Tina

It sounds like she may or may not put his name on the birth certificate.
If she doesn't then he will have to get a paternity test after the baby is born.
Once it is proven he is the dad he can try to get custody.
