What are the chances I am further along in my pregnancy than my doctor though I was?
Right now I am supposed to be 13 weeks pregnant. I went to the doctor and she told me that my uterus was up unusually high for 13 weeks. Does that mean I could be further along? Like a month further? Even though I would have had to have had my period while I was pregnant to be that much further?

Its possible your dates are off, its possible that you are having multiples, perhaps you are just having a big baby. If this isn't your first baby, then your uterus will always be slightly bigger, then it was before you had your first baby. Or it could be that everything is perfectly normal, and you are just bigger then the average. Its not uncommon.

Measuring the uterus is only a rule of thumb and not a hard and fast rule with pregnancy. What we do is take the tape measure and measure from the top of the pubic bone to the top of the fundus (uterus). The number in inches is approximately the number of weeks gestation.

This can be different for every woman, and for every pregnancy, for reasons Buggage mentioned above.
