    TV Buzzing sound
Recntly my Tv went down as I was watching and all I could hear was a buzzing sound coming from one of the componets on the board. When I tried to troubleshoot, I mistakenly burnt the STR ic and a capacitor and also foundout before that the transistor the connects to the high voltage supply was burnt. When I replaced the STR and transistor, the screen powered but immidiatly the screen went blnak and buzzing sound came back. Could anyone help me out on what to do?

With out schematics... it's extremely difficult, you have to know the tolerance requirements. Also CAPS are polar sensative... I've seen techs put CAPS in the wrong way and POOF! The chemicals will destry the board and solder around it. The voltage coming off the tubes is extreme so be careful! Most of the time a TV goes out is that it gets dirt or whatever that coats the electronics and they overheat. The best thing to do is to clean it once and a while to help in the cooling the components.
