Whirlpool washer model # LSR8244EQ1 won't spin most of the time
My whirlpool washer won't spin in spin cycle most of the time. However it will agitate and rinse
But most of the time it won't spin (in the spin cycle). I can hear the motor running and sometime it will start to spin at a slow pace. (I did this with any clothes in the washer). How can I test the lid switch (bypass) to eliminate buying unnecessary parts. Or should I test something else first. Thanks for any input.

To bypass the lid switch, simply remove the wires from the switch and make a connnection between the wires with a jumper wire. Check the motor coupling betweent eh motor and transmission
