My ex is not getting out until October 2008. I was at the gym today and turned around and there he was. I did not talk to him, I just left. I called the prison and they told me that he was transferred on Monday. So I called the new minimal facility and asked what was going on. He is on work release, and was supposed to be working. What do they do for a violation. He has only been there since Mondayand is already screwing up.

Normally they will send him back to prison.

He's going to go back to prison and serve his sentence having already been given a chance at the outside. I take it he's not that bright to figure out he would not be caught. Whoever is supervising him should come around his work place on a regular basis checking up on him and when he finds out he's gone, the super will take care of him in short order.

I hope he goes back. I just tried calling the facility because I need to know if he has a job right now. If he stays there I need to modify my child support order.

Try to hook up with whoever's monitoring him at the job site explaining who you are and why you need to know this information. They may or may not give you the information as you are not his present wife but ex-wife. If you are going through Child Support Enforcement for your monthly support checks possibly they could do this easier and faster for you. It's worth a try plus they don't charge.

Yeah he will go back and serve his time but it gets cut in half
