How do I stop a Judgement before I go to court ?
I have a court date set for Thursday from a collection agency for a car that I bought in 1998. I paid on it for 3 years then my son wreaked it. My last payment was Dec 2001. The insurance company made a payment in April 2002. Can I use the sol law? What are my options. The car was bought for 10,995 Interest was 28.25%. Balance Left owing was around 8,000. Total cost of car with interest was 27,595.20. Don`t know how much the insurance company paid. Loan charged off, sold twice. HELP
