Hi um I heard this crazy thing that someone said if you get hit in the stomach really hard there's a chance that you won't beable to get pregnant. I know it's a crazy though but is it true?:confused:

Not necessarily. It depends on the circumstances. You would have to hit pretty darn hard and just the right place, and even then I can't see it happen. Don't trust that on being a dependable birth control!

Not true. I was hit by a very large rock, in the stomach, when I was 12. It did not cause sterility. Now there may be that odd case where a particular accident like that did cause sterility but I would not count on that. There's a lot of those kinds of tales out there.

Myth... Depending on the strength and intensity of the "hit" it is very hard to damage the uterus enough to make a woman unable to carry a child.
