My computer stop to recognize CD/DVD room and DVD burner

Try downloading the drivers and install them and try again.

In my opinion I think you should install the DVD or CD drivers or check the wires did you connect all wires right, Check if the DVD or CD is New if is old and burned it will not work.

Disconnect everything from PC (keyboard, speakers, mouse, keyboard, power, everything)
Hold the power button on PC for 15secs and then hook back up everything and start PC and then see if your machine will see the drive, this happened to me 2 times and after a call to tech support this resolved the issue for me
