    Is there a site on the internet where a person can file their taxes for free?

    I believe TaxAct.com does it for free if you meet certain criteria.

    If not, you can check out Internal Revenue Service for a listing of free tax websites.

    Agreed; however, the IRS has not yet released the list of free efile providers for 2007.

    I expect they will do so sometime next week.
