How do I convert Mac pics to a PC to post on myspace?
My aunt has a website where she posts pics from her mac. I tried to copy and paste them to my desktop but no image appears. The only way I get an image is to convert it to a bitmap format but then it is a shortcut that won't show up when I try to post the pictures to myspace. In the dropdown to change formats, I don't get any options so I don't know what to do, and I tried using kodak gallery to load the pics but they don't show up there, either. Does this make sense?? Any suggestions?

One of the major differences between MAC OS and Windows is the use of extensions to define file types. MAC OS doesn't use them, windows requires them. However, certain standard file types are the same on MAC OS and Windows. So you need to find out what format auntie is using and had the appropriate extension. So if she is using the JPegs (the standard for photos), them just add a JPG extension when you save on your PC and they should open.
