I have no idea on what to do if I should get a dna test done, sing my rights over, or fight for custdoy of the child? What should I do since this might be my first child?

Certainly you want a DNA test performed on the baby to find out one way or the other if he is yours. (Could he be yours?)

As long as you are the biological father, you have parental rights--and parental obligations--no matter what you do. The only way to lose your parental rights is that you give your permission for another man to adopt the child.
