    93 civic code error
Okay my check engine light is on and won't come off... its been like this for past 2 month since I had my amp fuse blown out since that happen my car never started again.. and it had to been an electrical overload or I fried my ecu... my fuel pump nor my main relays click or hummm when I turn the key... what does that mean? Hmm it had me wonder for quite some time... I also had extra po6 ecu laying around my house to I went out today but before I put the other ecu on I tried to see if I can get any codes off my old ecu so I did the paper clip test I even tried a piece of wire... paper clip test failed... I think because once you insert the paper clip into the 2 pin covered in green plastic check engine light should've flash or blink spitting out its code... well it didn't do non of that , paper clip was in the 2 pin , check engine light stood on and stay on for long long time and I didn't see it blink nor flash so what does that mean?. I even tried it with the other po6 ecu and same thing can someone please tell me what's going on heeree??

Could be a sensor gone bad... if you have a mechanic's error code tool use that if not go to autozone and tell them your check engine light is on... at free of charge they can tell you what wrong...

Try disconnecting the battery... wait about 20sec and put it back in... if that didn't clear the error then...

    Check fuses and relays

Check spark plug and the plug wires

Also if you have a pressurized gas tank... when you get gas make sure you turn of car FIRST before opening the gas tank... this can make the check engine light come up also... my car the same way :)

When was last time car was in shop getting routine maintenance?
