At what month into the relationship did "I love you" enter the picture? Was it you who said it first, or was it your significant other? Was the relationship successful?

From my own personal experience, it has always been the guy who said it first, and it's usually come anywhere from about 1.5 - 2 months into the relationship. Someone told me that it is too soon. Which I tend to agree with. However, since this has happened multiple times in my life in this particular time frame, I was just curious as how it compared to others situations. Thanks in advance.

I said I love you before we were even dating yeah it is always the guy who says it first the best thing is I've never said it before and yeah the relationship is awesome all a girl needs is to know that she is loved so yeah say it only if you mean it don't go running in the street screaming I LOVE U expecting anything apart from a slipper come flying at u

After 6 months after I was sure that we would be dating, and felt I love you was true. Sometimes the relationship never lasted that long, sometime we were in love, but it wasn't enough to sustain a relationship. I will admit sometimes it was a crush, sometimes its just intense feelings that faded with time. After lust is satisfied, things have a way of cooling off real fast. For men, as well as women. And least I forget, telling someone you love them, and the comebacks that destroy you inside...

It was about 3 months into the relationship when he said "I think I love you" and I replied "me too." I think he was a little nervous as to what my reply would have been if he said straight out "I love you". That's why he said "I think". After that we just started saying it. We have been together for 2 years now.

1 year into it. It went well.

Sorry I just hate when guys say that me and my boyfriend said it kind of quick at 4 months I think but it was romantic so I know that he really meant it and it was a while after that that we had sex so I know that not why he fell in love with me... we've been togetther for 2 years!

The first night I met this one guy, he told me he loved me!! How psycho!! I slammed my Kahlua and coke and pretty much laughed in his face.

My exboyfriend told me he loved me two months after we started dating... we were very drunk too... a couple of days after that he came up to me and told me he really did love me and it wasn't just drunk talk... though they say that drunk people tell the truth hahaha xD
