    Weren't you ever diagnosed?
My son had astigmatism from birth and one blind eye. When he was two they tightened his eye muscles so his eyes didn't move around.

Do you think this could this be what you are having a problem with?

Did they at least tell you a diagnosis even if they didn't give you any treatment?

Do you have any other major health issues or unusual body characteristics? Your description very closely fits a similar eye problem of someone I know who also has what I believe is called albinoism... not having pigmentation and extreme sensitivity to sunlight. It affects her entire body.

I know very little about it, but am mentioning it because your description seemed to match her eye situation.

This is one of several conditions with which a pediatric ophthalmologist and a neuro-ophthalmologist will be well-versed. To learn more about your particular condition, have a consultation with one of these specialists.
