    Claim a non working spouse?
Can my husband claim me in this years taxes? I haven't worked for almost 2 years. Last year I had 2006 taxes so we did it jointly but I haven't worked since August 2006 can he claim me as a dependent?

Certainly he can. If you file jointly it really does not matter just who worked during the year as you are filing jointly.

Yes, you can still file a joint return. You will get $10,700 as standard deduction and two exemptions for $6,800.

Just a point of clarification: You are NOT his dependent; you are a co-filer of the joint tax return.
