Any thing from spicy foods like chili to a large glass of unsweetened iced tea.

Although I don't have any medical education for this particular problem, I know for sure the first occurrence for me was after they removed my gaulbladder.

Oh, goodness, this could be caused by a myriad of things. I can think of about 20 off the top of my head.

    Are there any other symptoms?

    Choux
In my experience, it is something I have eaten a couple of hours earlier that shot right through me... for me, common causes are spoiled food esp old veggies in a salad and large amounts of pulpy drink like tomato juice. In addition, food poisioning from a restaurant.

Besides everything that everybody else has said try eating whole wheat bread and more fiber. If these things don't help see if the doc says you have a digestive problem.
