I have a vtech phone. I cannot find any model # on it. Cannot figure out how to open to replace the AA batteries for the caller ID. Any suggestions.

If it's cordless, it's on the bottom of the base station.

Suggestion:

Hold it keypad down.
Push down at the seam in the back of the phone and try to slide the cover down in the direction of the charing pins.
