    Ducane fan runs constantly
    Hi,

Is it possible to the fan to my ducane unit (VL30-284T+D-10+DS) to continue running even after I have uninstalled the thermostat? (Removed it from the wall) I've read some postings here and think it might be the relay button. Is there something I can try or do I need to call a professional?

The heat wasn't working at all and we tried to install a new thermostat and now it runs constantly (I think it the heat also! )

    THanks!

Check to be sure you have not blown a control fuse or the transformer , the fan may run constantly if no 24 volts as a safety feature. Also check your filter and for any manual reset limit switches, also look in the blower compartment. Good luck , Mike

The limit switches may have a manual reset button in the middle of the wires (very small) these limits will have two wires and may be mounted on the blower housing, blower compartment or near the burner. Good luck ,Mike
