I have several $1.00 silver certificates and a couple of $2.00 ones. I would like an approximate value of a 1923 oversized certificate with a star in front of the serial number. It is in very good condition.

Spellman & Frank White , The SEal should be BLUE, To upper left of the seal should be A letter ( D ), You said it had a STAR )n Front of first number of serial number, THIS IS KNOWN AS A STAR NOTE ALSO , the STAR note is a replacement of original replacement of the destroyed noteand same serial numbers as first but searial # starts with a " star" . The value of this note as per the 2008 coin book values is ( Vg-8 ) condition is $ 35.00 Dallors IN Very Good condition. If you want to sell ,give me first chanch.
