    Hello,

    I am a U S citizen working for the U S government in Germany. I bought a house in Germany in 2006. I pay the property tax on the house to the German government. The house is being financed through a German bank. Can I deduct my mortgage payments and interest payments for this property.

    Yes, both the property taxes and the mortgage payments ARE deductible.
