Generally, I have heard that most people are very comfortable with the temperature being set at 72 degrees during the day, and then around 65 degrees at night when they are in bed. However, this really is a matter of personal needs as far as comfort. I like to have things somewhat cool in my home. The temperature in the Winter in my home is rarely over 65 degrees. And at night, I set my thermostat down to 50 degrees. But, this is mainly due to the cost to heat my rather large home. There is also no other person else living with me.
