Problems with sediment in well wtaer.
Hi I left it under th egeology section but figured a plumber may know. I have a well. It has a lot of fine grey sediment that you cannot rap properly d/t it seems finer than water when in the water. When in the water its like silt but if left out it gets like clay or putty and then when totally dryed it returns to a very fine silt that's like crushed chaulk. We can't put on filteres because depending on the fillter it may clog in 20 minutes to 1 weeks time. IT HAS CAUSE us to have to replace the well pressure switch a few times d/t it won't allow it tyo shut off and it gets to hot and burns the contacts. We have a pool and have had to have the pool emptyed d/t it causes the water to get murky/cloudy. And the filters and the pool chemicals can't clean it up properly. The heavy round metal lid you keep on the outer area of well head casing can not be kept on because at times pressure of unknown cause builds up and causes it to blow off and up 10 feet or more into the air. It sounds like a bomb going off. We need to figure a way to fix this Any suggestions to this and what it may be? HELP!!

You have an encroachment on your pump. Redig the well or raise the pump out of the mud.
