    Kentucky Commissioner Deciding Child Custody
    Is it legal for a commissioner to make a dicision about a child custody case if he was once a lawyer for on of the parents?If not what can be done?

    Conflict of interest
    It would seem that there is a conflict of interest, he should have excused themselves for that hearing. What state isthis in??

    In the state of Kentucky. I tried to get him thrown off the case but the Judge wouldn't see to it, it only made things worse for me.I don't know what to do from here.

    Look up the statutes in your state to recuse the judges or commissioners..
