Mind you the loans where in defalt and I don't know if they are out of defalt. I would like to have some grants to please help if you can.

Having loans that may have been pass due or in default will make it harder.
What you need to do is contact the college and talk to their finicial aid department, they will know of varoius money from national, state and often even local places.

First of all it sounds like you aren't sure if your loans are in default. You need to get the loan squared away and get back on track to pay for it.

To answer your question based on the limited information you supplied, I would say that you will not get any financial aid, especially if you have defaulted on a government insured student loan.
