    I am 3 months late
I haven't had a period in 3 months. I have took 3 home pregnancy tests and 1 blood test all negative. The only symptoms I have had were headaches, cramps, breast hurting and missed period. I have an appointment next Wednesday to see what's wrong with me. My last period was in September. I just don't know if I am or not because I have read so many stories online about women who didn't detect that they were pregnant until they were 5 months. So let me know what you think.

I have no clue. The doctor visit should tell you what's going on inside your body.

It is really impossible to say what is going on with you via the internet. It is a good thing you have a doctor's appointment scheduled, he/she should be able to tell you what is going on.

Oh, and I was one of those women you speak of. I did not have a period for 2 years, tests and tests later (after being told I will not be able to have any more children) I find out I am 4 months pregnant.

Please keep us posted as to what you find out.

The doctors could not explain it, nor can they now. But I WAS able to conceive and my daughter is now a healthy 14 year old!!

That was many years ago, but now there is some belief that certain metabolic disorders can cause lack of ovulation and/or lack of menstruation, thyroid disorders being just one of them.

I suggest you make a list of questions to take with you to your doctor. Don't let him/her rush off if you don't understand. Also, if you still don't understand, don't hesitate to ask the nurse questions, that is one thing we nurses learn early on in our training... teaching.

Good luck to you, and please keep me posted.

Went to the doctor yesterday and they took some blood for 3 test. Luteinizing hormone , Thyroid, HCG. They had no idea what was wrong with me. She couldn't explain the breast pain. I would have to wait tell my test come back. The doctor prescribed me Provera, it suppose to make the menstrual cycle come on it's a 10-day supply of pills. She said if my blood work comes back abnormal then they will do a ultrasound but I'm not pregnant

    Delana,

I'm sorry I have not responded sooner, school went back in session and this is the most hectic semester, thank goodness it's the final semester.

I, too, too Provera and also Premarin. Now they have it in one pill PremPro, but I was on it years ago when it was still 2 separate pills.

Just know that, at least with me, pregnancy is still a possibility. I have had 2 children since that time. My daughter is 14 now and my son is almost 6. And I still have the same problems I had 15+ years ago.
